1. What is Go Local Soccer? Go Local Soccer is a non-profit adult co-ed recreational soccer league dedicated to providing a fun and inclusive environment for soccer enthusiasts of all skill levels. We organize leagues, tournaments, clinics, pickup opportunities, community and charity events to promote the love of the game and foster connections within our local communities.

2. Who can participate in Go Local Soccer? Our league is open to adult players aged 21 and above, regardless of skill level or experience. Whether you're a seasoned player looking for competitive matches or a beginner wanting to learn and have fun, there's a place for you at Go Local Soccer.

3. How are teams organized? Teams are typically formed based on individual sign-ups, although we also accommodate groups or teams that want to join together, such as corporate teams. If you don't have a team, don't worry – we'll help place you on a team that suits your skill level and preferences.

4. When and where are games played? Game schedules and locations vary depending on the league or tournament. We strive to provide convenient and accessible venues for all participants, with games typically held on evenings or weekends to accommodate busy schedules. As Go Local gets closer to launch, we will update our locations and times accordingly.

5. How long does the season last? Our seasons typically run for 11 weeks, with each team playing 10 games guaranteed. The season breaks down into preseason, regular season, and playoffs. The first week is Scrimmage Week or Preseason. Then there are 8 Regular Season games. Good News! Everybody makes playoffs. Then we have two weeks of Playoffs with the second week being Finals.

6. Are there any equipment requirements? Players are required to wear appropriate soccer attire, including cleats or turf shoes and shin guards. There are no metal cleats allowed. Team shirts will be provided by the league upon each team's successful signup at the beginning of the season. Teams can request their team color to remain constant after 2 seasons with Go Local. Custom uniforms are allowed but have certain requirements from the league that we would be happy to discuss with you. Please email us at [email protected] to learn more.

7. Can I become a referee, field tech, or field manager? Absolutely! We welcome any who are passionate about soccer and want to contribute to the success of our league. Whether you're interested in officiating games, helping with field setup and tear down, or being a critically important point of contact on the field, we have opportunities for you to get involved.

9. Is Go Local Soccer affiliated with any other organizations? While we operate independently as a non-profit organization, we may collaborate with other local soccer clubs and teams, community groups, or sports associations to enhance the experience for our participants and promote soccer in our communities.

10. How can I support Go Local Soccer? There are several ways to support our organization, including participating as a player or field team member, spreading the word about our leagues and events, and providing financial contributions or sponsorships. Go Local Soccer is a 501c3 so every donation is able to be eligible for a tax write off. Every bit of support really does help us continue our mission of promoting soccer and community engagement.
